Acoustical Shelving and Space Divider
HIVE is a perfect addition to a buzzing office space. This versatile, combination cubby storage system and acoustical sound dampener module can either be attached to the wall or assembled together as a freestanding space divider. Inspired by the honeycomb shape made by bees, the HIVE comes in 2 different hexagon modules (27”x31” and 13”x15”) that are 11” deep. Both large and small sizes fit together to form an endless pattern configuration of natural geometrical shapes.
The wall hanging version comes with unique template pieces that make the layout and mounting of each hexagon a breeze. The free-standing version is easily assembled with a t-nut thru pre-drilled holes along the outer skin. Each cubby can support up to 10 lbs of load and has an average NRC value of 0.8 because of the hollow cavities formed by the PET felt structure.
