Double Win For Frasch! Lysa Wins Best of NeoCon Gold, Melo wins HiP
There’s a saying that luck is what happens when preparation meets hard work. Today we’re super excited and feeling honored because luck struck twice! First, at Interior Design Magazine’s annual award event on Sunday night. Shortly after the festivities began, we were elated to hear our name, “Frasch”, called out by Cindy Allen, Editor of Interior Design, for our new acoustical speaker solution, Melo. This unique product was given the top honor, a HiP award for the Technology category. We believe Melo is a thoughtful solution to acoustical issues that are present in today’s open workplaces. But why not take it one step further? Studies have shown that minor background music can aid in concentration and enhance the ambiance of a space. So, we embedded a wireless speaker within the acoustic tiles that can be controlled via Bluetooth from your mobile device. Melo is a set of acoustical wall tiles that form a geometric pattern of artwork for offices. Apparently, the good people at Interior Design Magazine agreed! Thanks for the HiP award.
This honor was enough on its own, and we raised a glass to toast the achievement. Fortunately, the good times kept rolling this morning and Frasch won again – this time a Best of NeoCon Gold award for our new multi-purpose task lamp, Lysa. Combining a minimalist design style with clever functionality allows users to easily re-position the LED lamp with a magnetic base, adjust brightness levels and even charge up devices with a built-in USB port.
These two wins are a true honor for our team – a huge Frasch thank you to the good people at Interior Design Magazine, Contract Magazine and NeoCon! These awards are validation of several years of hard work, and motivation to work even harder – building on our purpose….To make great furniture that inspires great work.
